MultiSource announces the purchase of MicroGroup Blaine, a source for diverse precision machining primarily for the aerospace and defense industries.
MultiSource Manufacturing LLC has completed the 10th acquisition since inception in 1998:
MultiSource Manufacturing LLC today announced the acquisition of MicroGroup Blaine, located in Blaine, MN. Effective immediately, MicroGroup Blaine has been renamed MultiSource Aerospace LLC and will be operated as a wholly-owned subsidiary of MultiSource Manufacturing LLC. MultiSource Aerospace LLC performs diverse precision machining, primarily for the aerospace and defense industries. The company has a wide range of skills and services to meet the most demanding needs of its customers and recently received its AS9100b certification, which is considered a higher certification standard than ISO9001:2000 certification.

MultiSource announces the purchase of CMG Machining Inc., a source for precision machining and electromechanical assembly for the medical device industry.
MultiSource Manufacturing LLC has completed their 9th acquisition since inception in 1998:

CMG Machining will be operated as a division of MultiSource Manufacturing, and performs diverse types of precision machining, primarily for the medical device industry, including medical instruments and image guided surgical devices, prototype production and complete turnkey products. We are please to announce the acquisitions of Forpak, Inc. Hastings, MN on June 1, 2006 and Northland Precision, Inc., Spring Lake Park, MN on August 1, 2006. Forpak a manufacturer of food stacking equipment has been integrated into the Douglas Manufacturing division, Burnsville, MN and Northland Precision will be integrated by year-end into the TRU Machine division, Fridley, MN. We are excited about both acquisitions and about the great work force it adds to MultiSource.
Shop Parts Division moves to new location:
Effective October 16, 2006 the Shop Parts Division is relocating to a new state-of-art 25000 sq. ft. facility, located one-half mile away for its current facility. We are excited about moving to a larger facility, double its current size, providing us room to continuously improve our organization and to substantially increase our readiness for future growth for our current and new customers.
